Rabbi Binyamin (Beni) Rachmanov is a rabbinical judge (Dayan), Torah scholar, and communal leader with over twenty years of experience in Jewish law, education, and adjudication. Born in Israel and raised in New York, he received comprehensive rabbinical training in Halacha and Iyun, attaining advanced mastery of Shulchan Aruch and its principal commentaries. He pursued his Torah studies under Rabbi Eliyahu ben Haim, Rabbi Naftali Ganzvi, Rabbi Moshe Walkin, and Rabbi Aharon Walkin, receiving rigorous instruction in both analytical Talmudic study and practical Halachic application. For much of his childhood and adolescence, he studied and prayed at the synagogue of Rabbi Igal Haimoff, where his foundational development in Torah scholarship, discipline, and communal responsibility was formed.
Rabbi Rachmanov was ordained as a Dayan by Rabbi Hanan Kablan and later received ordination in the Laws of Gittin from Rabbi Eliyahu Abergel. He also received rabbinical ordination from the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Dovid Lau, marking him as the first-generation Bukharian Jew in New York to receive ordination as a Rabbinical Judge.
Rabbi Rachmanov has served in positions of religious leadership for many years, founding and leading batei midrash, educational institutions, and communal initiatives dedicated to strengthening Jewish family life, Torah observance, and Halachic integrity. He is the presiding authority of a New York–based Beit Din and is frequently consulted on matters of Jewish law, marriage and divorce, conversion, and communal governance.
In addition to his rabbinical service, Rabbi Rachmanov is a prolific author and lecturer, having written and published numerous works in Hebrew and English. Through lectures, public forums, and media platforms, he is committed to presenting Torah scholarship with clarity, depth, and responsibility, ensuring fidelity to Halacha while engaging the challenges of the contemporary world.
